Do you ship to store?

We do NOT offer a ship to store option at this time. You may call your store directly and ask for a store to store transfer which may be available in most cases but will depend on stock levels, weight, size, and product availability. Our current shipping methods are ship to home or in-store pick up.

Do you deliver?

Some stores have delivery available. For details, please contact your nearest Runnings store.

Does Runnings offer a military discount?

Yes, Runnings is proud to extend a military discount to active and retired men and women who have served our country. This discount is offered four times a year including a day during customer appreciation day in February, Memorial Day, July 4th and Veteran’s Day. Valid I.D is required.

Does Runnings allow pets in stores?

Yes, Runnings warmly welcomes all well-behaved pets in our stores as long as owners take proper precautions to ensure the safety of all individuals who may come in contact with the pet. This would include the use of leashes and muzzles. Pet owners are also responsible for cleaning up any messes left by their pets while in the store. Runnings is a pet-friendly company!

Does Runnings have motorized carts in stores?

Yes, most Runnings stores have motorized carts available for use in stores.  However, there are a few smaller stores where carts are currently not available because of space limitations; these locations are Canby, MN; Parkston, SD; Gregory, SD; Baker, MT and Mandan, ND.

Does Runnings sell ARs?

Runnings recognizes that the ongoing debate regarding whether or not a retailer should sell Armalite Rifles (ARs), is an emotional one with a number of differing sides. Runnings will continue selling ARs under strict guidelines and laws enforced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), as well as each individual state where we currently operate.

Online Account Setup

Why do I need an account?

An account is not required; however, having an account will allow you to keep track of your orders and simplify the checkout process by remembering your information.

What happens if I can’t remember my password?

You can reset your password by going to “Sign In,” which is located in the header. From there, click on “I Forgot My Password.” Enter your email address, click “Send Email,” and within minutes, you will receive an email from Runnings. Follow the included link to change your password.

What does Runnings do with my personal information?

We only use your information for order confirmation and delivery purposes and never sell any information to any third-party companies. With your permission, we will use your contact information to provide you with updates and product offers.

Payments and Pricing

If I order a gift card online, how will I receive it?

Customers who order gift cards online are mailed a physical gift card to the shipping address entered during checkout. Gift cards can be sent directly to a recipient, along with a note from you. Orders are sent via USPS, and will be processed and sent the day they are received if ordered by 11 a.m. CST. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays. Tracking is not available on gift cards. Please NOTE that Runnings Gift Cards cannot be used on our online store at this time. Gift Cards can only be redeemed at a Runnings store location.

My card was declined, so why was my account still charged?

It is a temporary hold that will show up for up to seven days. Your account has not actually been charged, we will not charge your account until the product ships.

Does Runnings offer a price match program?

Yes, Runnings is committed to never be undersold, that's why we will gladly price match local competitors print and digital sale flyers. Simply bring in the entire competitor's sale ad, while the ad is in effect and we will price match items with the exact same model and manufacturer number. Runnings does reserve the right to consider shipping and handling charges when price matching on online orders. Some exceptions may also apply to items involved in seasonal clearance programs, rebates, percent off sales, and limited to stock on hand promotions.

Does Runnings offer layaway?

Yes, Runnings does offer layaway in each of our stores. For 20% down, Runnings will hold the purchase for 90 days with no interest, no payments and no service charge. Most items, including Firearms can be placed on layaway.  See store for details.

Online Orders

How do I place an order?

Once you have added at least one item that you wish to purchase in your shopping bucket, click on the bucket in the top right corner. This will lead you to the checkout area. Either enter your login credentials (if you have not already logged in), or enter your email address to checkout as a guest. Next, you will be asked to enter your shipping and billing information, followed by payment information. Have a credit card ready for this step. Finally, you will be asked to agree to the Terms of Use, and then you may place your order.

Are there any restrictions as to where I can ship my order?

We do not currently ship internationally. We only ship within the United States including Alaska, and Hawaii; however we do NOT ship to California at this time. Any orders that fall outside of the service area will be cancelled and the customer will be notified by email of the cancellation.

How is sales tax calculated?

Where applicable, Runnings will charge sales tax on taxable items. Sales tax is calculated based on the cost of the taxable merchandise. Depending on state-specific regulations, sales tax may also be applied on shipping and handling costs.

What payment methods does Runnings accept?

Runnings accepts checks, cash, all major credit cards, debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Runnings gift cards are not accepted online at this time, only for purchases made in-store.

How do I view my order status or track a shipped order?

If you created an account, you can view your order status by signing into the site and selecting “My Order History” from the Member’s Area. Here, you will be able to check the status of any of your orders and all items that belong to those orders. You can also access and print receipts here. How do I cancel or change an order?

Cancelling or changing an order maybe done depending on how much time has passed since the order was submitted. Please Contact us to help with cancel or change an order.

Are your coupons and rebate offers valid for use online?

Our coupons and rebates are only good for in-store purchases at this time. Please contact a store near you to redeem.

Can I place an order by phone?

Yes, we would be happy to help you place an order over the phone.

How do I return online purchases?

If you are not satisfied with an online purchase, you may ship it back to us for a full refund. You may also return or exchange items purchased on Runnings.com at any store location. All returns must be completed within 60 days and should be accompanied by a receipt. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs on non-defective items (items ordered incorrectly by the purchaser).

What should I do if my package is lost or damaged?

If you package arrives damaged or defective, please note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery. You will have the option to have a replacement item shipped to you or to have your order refunded (including shipping costs). Should you find any items to be damaged or defective after opening, please call us at 1-844-RUN-1947 or email info@runnings.com for Customer Support assistance. Often a manufacturer requests direct contact from the consumer on defects and warranties – see your item’s manual for details. Please contact customer support via email or phone for assistance.

Can I return or exchange an online purchase at one of the retail stores?
