Runnings Enhances Canby Presence with Relocation and Expansion
CANBY, MINNESOTA – Runnings Supply Inc. is set to mark a milestone as it prepares to unveil its relocated and refreshed Canby store on September 8, 2023 accompanied by a 9:00am ribbon cutting ceremony. The eagerly anticipated inauguration will be celebrated with a special event spanning from September 8th to September 10th, 2023.
Originating its operations in 1972, the original Canby establishment has evolved over time, eventually spanning three additional buildings within downtown Canby, encompassing approximately 8,000 square feet. As the second store in Runnings' history, the new Canby location stands as a testament to the company's growth and commitment to meeting evolving community needs.
The new Canby location addresses these space-related concerns comprehensively with an expansion of nearly 6 acres to accommodate a 25,000 square-foot store.
"Stepping into this space at our Canby store is an exciting moment. We're not only better equipped to offer a diverse range of products but also to provide even more value to the community we proudly serve. This expansion reflects that support, and we're thrilled to continue giving back through an elevated shopping experience and strengthened community connections,” said store manager Joseph Bohne.
This strategic expansion offers a transformative potential, enabling the store to amplify its product offerings, enhance sales, and optimize service to the local community. A diverse selection of merchandise will grace the shelves, including sporting goods, household essentials, agricultural supplies, and various other items.
