Throws the snow but electrical issues (read on)

As far as snow removal the unit worked great. Really throw the snow. I use it to blow the snow in a small fenced in for the dog.

after one season however, the electrical connections at the motor oxidized and it stopped working. There was white powder that filled the twist connection. I took it apart, and soldered the wires together and that solved the issue. That was after I worked on it for 4 hours tearing apart the safety run bar. Now I have an always on snow blower.

It blew the snow of storm Stella March of 2017 no problem. I think the motor draws so much current that the connection at the motor oxidized. Too bad because it does a great job.

Only other complaint is in the cold the extension cord gets less flexible and the loops in the line stick up just enough to lasso your foot. I'm always getting my legs tangled up.

Pros: Throws the snow great
Cons: Motor draws too much current oxidizing the connectors
